Managed launcher: choose visible applications, mark kiosk packages, and set startup behavior.
Background mode: keep the native or another installed launcher. Management, monitoring, MQTT commands, and administrator lock/unlock remain available.

Background mode suspends Soar kiosk app enforcement. Test this operating choice on your device.
